POSITION SUMMARY: 

The Vice President of Information Technology (VP.IT) plays a critical role within the organization’s Executive Leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO, HealthChannels. This position assumes strategic responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all information technology and information systems-related activities. The Vice President of Information Technology oversees IT systems/platforms, system configuration, data centers/warehousing, IT infrastructure, and ensures alignment with organizational strategic objectives. This is a remote position. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years direct experience in the Information Technology sector, with significant experience designing, implementing, and deploying technology solutions. 

  • Demonstrated experience in managing IT teams and overseeing IT operations in a complex environment.

  • Strong leadership and management experience, including oversight of IT functions in complex environments.

  • Expertise in security systems, enterprise applications, electronic data interchange (EDI), and HIPAA transactions.

  • Proficiency with Google platforms, IDP, IAM, GCP, GWS, enterprise databases, storage systems, virtualization, and network infrastructure.

  • Experience with health plan claims payment systems, CRM systems, and analytics tools such as Power BI preferred.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with diverse stakeholders.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate strategic goals into actionable IT initiatives.

  • Systems-Knowledge of the below systems is strongly preferred-HubSpot, Google Workspace, ADP Workforce, VidCruiter, AppSheet, Smartsheet, Workday including Workday Financials, Workday Extend, HCM.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Collaborative Business Partner

    • Act as a strategic business partner between departments

    • Focuses on problem solving with key stakeholders to accomplish initiatives within HealthChannels.

Strategic Leadership

    • Develop and execute the I.T. strategy in alignment with the organization's goals.

    • Lead the selection, implementation, and maintenance of all platforms.

System Management

    • Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and upgrades of all systems.

    • Ensure data integrity, security, and privacy compliance.

    • Manage system integrations with other business applications and third-party vendors.

Process Improvement

    • Identify opportunities to optimize processes through technology.

    • Implement best practices for data management and reporting.

    • Lead projects to automate and improve system workflows.

Data Analytics and Reporting

    • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision-making. 

    • Partners with key stakeholders to ensure tools are in place to aid in the success of strategic decisions for HealthChannels.

    • Analyze metrics and provide insights to leadership and business partners.

    • Ensure accurate and timely reporting for compliance and regulatory requirements.

Team Leadership and Development

    • Manage and mentor the I.T. team, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.

    • Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.

    • Coordinate with all departments to ensure seamless operations.

Vendor Management

    • Manage relationships with vendors and service providers.

    • Negotiate contracts and service level agreements.

    • Monitor vendor performance and ensure service delivery meets organizational standards. 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field required;
