Intern - HRIS 

ScribeAmerica is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented and tech-savvy HRIS Intern to join our Human Resources team. This internship offers hands-on experience supporting the management, optimization, and maintenance of our Human Resources Information System (HRIS). The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and eager to learn about HR technology and data processes in a fast-paced environment. The internship will be a 3-6 month commitment. 


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support system audits and data clean-up efforts across HR modules

  • Help with onboarding/offboarding workflows, and document uploads

  • Test system functionalities and support new feature rollouts

  • Generate standard reports for HR and leadership teams

  • Provide basic end-user support and troubleshoot common issues

  • Document HRIS processes and contribute to the creation of user guides

  • Collaborate with HR and IT to improve HRIS usability and reporting

  • Commitment to a minimum of 12 hours a week.


Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or a related field

  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy

  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, and ADP) is a plus

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookup, basic formulas)

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally

  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to HR process improvement initiatives
