About the Role
The Director of Implementations (Director) leads and empowers a team of Project Managers responsible for onboarding and implementing new clients and their corresponding new business. This role serves as a key operational leader accountable for team performance, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency. Beyond overseeing service delivery, the Director partners directly with clients to operationalize custom Return on Investment (ROI) models—translating value propositions into realized gains. Advising clients on care team design, operational efficiencies and best practices is a core part of the Director’s business acumen and consulting support for new clients.
What You’ll Do
- Team Leadership & Performance: Coach, mentor, and motivate a team of Project Managers to achieve operational excellence. Drive accountability through clear KPIs, regular performance reviews, and professional development opportunities.
- Client Experience & Service Delivery: Oversee all implementation projects to ensure timely, high-quality execution that drives high client satisfaction and smooth transitions to post-implementation teams.
- ROI Realization: Collaborate directly with clients during the onboarding phase to review ROI models, embedding agreed-upon value drivers into daily implementation workflows and system setups.
- Process Improvement & Escalations: Identify operational bottlenecks, refine implementation frameworks, and serve as the executive escalation point for critical project risks or client issues.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with Business Development, Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Operations and other departments to ensure seamless handoffs and consistent messaging around platform value and capabilities.
What You’ll Need
- College degree required.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required OR ability to obtain PMP within 12 weeks of job acceptance.
- 7+ years in implementation, customer onboarding, or technical professional services, with 3+ years in a direct management role.
- Experience in healthcare.
- Proven track record of managing senior-level client relationships and navigating complex, multi-site implementations.
- Strong financial and operational skill set; demonstrated ability to work with ROI models, value frameworks, and data-driven metrics.
- Exceptional coaching and team-building skills with a focus on relationships, accountability, and high-performance culture.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration, risk mitigation, process design, and executive presentation capabilities.
- Experience using Hubspot or other CRM and/or other project management tools.
- Must be located in the US, eastern or central US time zone preferred. Must have the ability to work with clients residing in all US time zones.
- Ability to travel to project locations as needed.

- Compensation range: Our base compensation range for this position is $110,000 - $120,000, depending on qualifications, experience, and geographic location
