About the Role
The Employee Experience Specialist supports the day-to-day operations of the Employee Experience function, ensuring an exceptional employee experience from onboarding through the employee lifecycle. This role focuses on administrative and compliance processes, including new hire onboarding, I-9 verification, and coordination of key employee experience activities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to maintaining accuracy and efficiency in all Employee Experience processes.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct welcome calls with new hires to guide them through onboarding and ensure a positive experience.
- Act as the primary contact for employee inquiries, providing timely and professional support while escalating complex matters as necessary.
- Serve as an authorized I-9 reviewer, ensuring all employment eligibility verifications are completed accurately and in compliance with federal requirements.
- Support onboarding documentation, background checks, credential compliance, and HRIS data entry for new employees.
- Liaise with third party vendors (e.g., background, medical, VMS) and manage system integrations to ensure seamless onboarding.
- Manage all aspects of credentialing and re-credentialing to ensure regulatory and client-specific compliance in alignment with JCAHO and other healthcare accreditation organization standards.
- Maintain employee records with confidentiality and precision.
- Collaborate with payroll, Talent Acquisition, Operations, and IT teams to ensure smooth employee lifecycle processes.
- Support HR audits and maintain compliance with internal policies and federal/state employment regulations.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve HR processes for efficiency and consistency.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in HR operations, onboarding, or employee data management preferred.
- Strong knowledge of employment verification (Form I-9) requirements and compliance best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional and approachable demeanor.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (or Google Workspace).
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Self-motivated and able to thrive in a remote, fast-paced environment.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This position is full-time remote position with working hours of Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM local time.

Compensation range:
Our compensation range for this position is $40,000 - $45,000, depending on qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
