About the Role

HealthChannels seeks a strategic, high-impact Executive Vice President (EVP), Growth to lead growth strategy, market positioning and revenue generation. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the EVP, Growth will be accountable for leading both the Business Development and Marketing functions. This role is responsible for formulating a cohesive corporate growth strategy, driving sales team outcomes and maximizing cross-brand Go-To-Market (GTM) execution across large medical groups, health systems, independent hospitals and ambulatory sites of care. The ideal candidate is a seasoned healthcare  leader with a proven track record of scaling service lines, building high-level executive relationships and transitioning teams to highly consultative, solution-oriented sales frameworks.

What You’ll Do

  • Strategic Market Positioning & GTM Strategy
    • Formulate and execute a cohesive corporate growth strategy that positions HealthChannels as the premier consultative partner for care team design, workflow mapping and operational efficiency.
    • Align marketing and business development to effectively cross-sell services across all business units, driving expansion of partnership opportunities. 
    • Contribute thought leadership to best position the organization and offerings in the market.
    • Identify and develop new revenue opportunities within the existing client base, comprising over 1,000 sites across the US and Canada.
    • Identify and develop new growth opportunities that align with organization mission, capabilities and assets.
  • Business Development Leadership
    • Oversee a structured, disciplined business development team, utilizing existing CRM frameworks, performance metrics, and regular team structures to drive consistent quota achievement.
    • Evaluate current sales pipelines and cycle times to introduce continuous improvement strategies, sharpening the team’s ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder healthcare sales processes.
    • Support the business development team in cultivating high-level, strategic relationships with key decision-makers.
    • Provide consistent mentorship in leading the team.
  • Marketing Alignment
    • Guide the marketing team to articulate the company’s unique market position, driving brand awareness across all healthcare provider groups.
    • Ensure marketing initiatives directly support the sales pipeline by delivering clear, ROI-driven messaging centered on solving workforce shortages, provider burnout, patient access and financial performance.
    • Develop case studies and messaging to demonstrate repeatable ROI for clients adopting the company’s services.
  • Reporting & Analysis
    • Prepare and present comprehensive regular reports on growth performance, pipeline health, market trends, and organizational growth initiatives to the Chief Executive Officer and Executive team.
    • Develop long-term business plans that align with company objectives and drive sustainable market share growth.
  • Industry Expertise
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, healthcare policy updates, regulatory changes, and technical advancements in the allied health, workforce staffing, and ambulatory care sectors.
    • Provide consultative insights and recommendations to the executive team on emerging market opportunities and potential threats.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within healthcare services, healthcare workforce solutions, or a closely related healthcare sector.
  • Experience in healthcare growth, strategy, revenue generation and market positioning.
  • Proven track record of managing and scaling combined sales and marketing functions at the Vice President or Director level.
  • Demonstrable success navigating months-long healthcare sales cycles and securing high-value, enterprise-level contracts with large medical groups, independent hospitals, and health systems.
  • Proven ability to transition a sales function from transactional selling to a highly consultative, solution-oriented approach focused on organizational care team design.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills with the ability to engage, influence, and build immediate credibility with clinical, operational, and financial leadership.
  • Proficiency in utilizing enterprise CRM tools and data analytics to optimize pipeline tracking, forecasting, and team accountability.
  • Ability to travel as needed to support strategic accounts, attend industry conferences, and collaborate with executive leadership.

Compensation & Perks

  • Total Target Earnings: $300,000+
  • Travel: Up to 25%
  • Ideal candidate must live within 1 hour of a major metro area
