About the Role
The Senior Benefits Coordinator supports the administration and delivery of employee benefits programs across the organization. This role ensures accuracy in benefits processes, assists employees with inquiries, and promotes awareness of available perks and programs. The Benefits Coordinator collaborates closely with internal HR teams and external vendors to maintain compliance, enhance employee understanding of benefits, and ensure efficient administration in a remote environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and retirement plan.
  • Process enrollments, changes, and terminations in HRIS and vendor systems accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Respond to and resolve employee benefits inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Assist in the administration of leave of absence programs, including documentation tracking and communication with employees and management.
  • Support open enrollment activities, including employee communications, and open enrollment materials.
  • Coordinate and help facilitate monthly benefits meetings to address updates, FAQs, and process improvements.
  • Promote employee perks and benefits awareness through consistent communication and education efforts.
  • Assist Benefits Specialist with HR inquiries , payroll concerns, and vendors to ensure data consistency across systems.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvements to enhance benefits operations and employee experience.

What You’ll Need

  • Typically requires 5+ years of experience in employee relations, with experience in leading investigations and managing complex case
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and management. 
  • Ability to analyze complex situations, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions. 
  • Proven ability to mediate disputes and facilitate positive outcomes in conflict situations. 
  • Thorough understanding of relevant employment laws and regulations. 
  • Ability to lead and influence others, build relationships, and drive change. 
  • Ability to think strategically and develop proactive solutions to employee relations issues.

    • Our base compensation for this position is $40,000 - $45,000, depending on qualifications, experience, and geographic location

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time remote position with days Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required, as needed.
